“An inspiration to me and one of my big role models. I simply love the way [she] teaches.” Paul, Dublin
“Mary Beth is terrific at breaking down steps into manageable smaller ones, building up to a complete repertoire. For that reason, the classes are accessible for everyone from beginners to those who learnt a few steps when they were young. Ta na ranganna ar fheabhas.” - Ger, Dublin
“Two years ago, Mary Beth agreed to teach myself and a friend some sean-nós steps for sets. The woman has patience! And she never makes you feel stupid. But beyond this - her range of knowledge, patience, and ability to break down the steps into small, easily learnable bits ... was an incredible learning experience if only for the simple reason that I’d never had that kind of focussed teaching before.” - Bill, Dublin
“Great class, great craic, great teacher. Finally, I’m dancing!” - Seamus, Dublin

Founded by Mary Beth Taylor, TCRG, Scoil Rince Taylor is an Irish dancing and sean-nós dancing school with classes for students of all ages and skill levels in Dublin, Ireland. At present, Scoil Rince Taylor is the only school in Dublin where students can learn Irish step dancing, sean-nós, and battering steps for set dancing from a fully qualified teacher.
Mary Beth’s classes are open to adults of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels. Scoil Rince Taylor is a community-based organisation, where students can enjoy dancing for fun and fitness, rather than for competition. Performance is an important part of Scoil Rince Taylor as well. Mary Beth’s classes hold shows on various occasions throughout the year which all SRT dancers are encouraged to participate in. Sharing the joy of Irish dancing and music through performance is truly an integral part of Irish culture.
